Right now a massive petrochemical buildout is underway in South Louisiana. The Louisiana organizer will continue implementing existing strategies and will also have opportunities to contribute new ideas to oppose the petrochemical buildout while creating a positive vision for our future. While some organizing experience is preferred, this position is also perfect for somebody with passion who is willing to put in the work to learn on the job. Somebody from within or with close ties to the communities most impacted by this petrochemical buildout is preferred.
